Stuart Markus (guitar, vocals, bass) is a journalist, musician, songwriter, community organizer and so much more. Known as the creator of LI's official Groundhog's Day theme song, Stuart has also organized several noted songwriter concerts including the Malverne Songwriter Festival in 1998, the Thanksgiving Benefit Concert that marked the debut of Huntington's Song Box in 1999, and a benefit to rebuild the Broadway Beanery, a well-known coffee house and music venue that was destroyed by fire in 2001.
